Search IRG signatures
This is the main page of the Interferome database. This allows you to search this database for any genes that Interferon regulated.

To search the database for your set of genes each gene id or symbol must be converted into ensembl ids: for example ENSG1000008709.
This is done using the link: Convert your Genes List to ENSEMBL ID's. This link opens into a new window to an independent conversion
website (url: http://idconverter.bioinfo.cnio.es/). When converting your genes to ensembl ids unclick all boxes related to the
different type of ids that genes can be converted to, EXCEPT for the ensemble gene box.

When searching there is a limit of 100 genes that can be searched at a time. You can also select what species that your input genes are.
You can either choose human or mouse. For your genes if you have any mouse genes in your input list but choose human species to search for,
the output will return no hits for these genes as they do not describe human ensembl ids.

When you have press submit you will be directed to another window which is observed below.
This will have your ensembl id, the gene name, entrez id, description of the gene, what chromosome it is on,
the subtype of interferon that this gene is regulated by and links to external webpages of ihop, entrez gene and
ensembl pages for that gene, of the genes that in the database.
